Here's a stray cat that I came upon taking photos along the edge of the Bosporus. It was quite friendly, unlike some other stray cats I've met in my travels.

Here's a photo I took riding a ferry in Istanbul to get to the Asian side of the Bosporus. I was surprising at the massive numbers of freighters in the Bosporus.

Continuing the Istanbul theme, here's an ancient tablet from the Istanbul Archaeological Museum. If you're interested in classical or even older archeology in the region, it is an excellent museum.

Here's the interior of the Aya Sofya, a former Byzantine cathedral in Istanbul I took several years ago while spending some time in Turkey. It was hard to capture how large the interior was, but here's an attempt.

This is my new photoblog. I have a flickr site, but I tend to take a lot of photos looking for the perfect one and then put them all up on flickr. On this site I will try and put up my favourites, so that they don't get lost in the shuffle and maybe give a little comment on each one.
